I have always been a huge fan of Crayola growing up I was the kid who used her money to buy Crayola Crayons, Markers, Pencils, etc. I always bought the new coolest thing from Crayola. I saw these a couple weeks ago when we were looking for a lunch box for my daughter I really wanted a set but we had more pressing items than a box of crayons (even thought they looked awesome).
I went to Wal-mart yesterday with the Booga and picked up ONE set to try. They were either going to be the greatest thing in the world or they were going to be crap. I got them home and switch our easel around from the chalkboard side to the dry erase side. The kids were both extremely interested in what I was doing. I first wrote on the white board with the crayons to see how they worked. They worked great they glided onto the white board without having to push hard (scratching the white board surface) and they were solid enough that they did not turn to mush. The next test was to see how easily the crayon was removed from the white board. I did use the black mitt provided in the box and rubbed (not to hard) the crayon off – I was sold.

As you can see I wrote the colors in the background for my test. |

My kids playing with the crayons on the white board – they loved it! |
Pros:
Easy to clean up
Works great on a white board
Quiet time (it lasted for ten minutes)
Comes with a crayon sharpener (I love sharp crayons!)
Cons:
Needs to come in Jumbo so Booga doesn’t break them (he broke two – making for mommy to take them away and disappointed kids)
Needs more colors (my daughter kept asking for pink)
Verdict:
I LOVE THEM!!! I need to get another set for me and one for my daughter because she told me she does not want to share. I am hoping they continue to sell them as individual packs and make more colors. The last time I loved a Crayola Product this much they stopped making individual packs (Construction Paper Crayons – I don’t need a classroom pack of them, I need one box) I am hoping by doing this “product review” these crayons don’t end up like the Construction Paper Crayons.
