One of my New Year Resolutions was to learn how to crochet. My friend Leslie showed a how to on her UStream Show on Friday. I sat with my Dollar Store crochet hook and followed along until I snapped the hook. I was enjoying it and I knew I wanted to continue with this. I found another plastic hook in my daughter’s Loop and Loom and got to work. I could only find my cotton yarn so I sat and played with it (I hurt my back this weekend so I spent the majority of the time on the couch with a heating pad). I was excited because I finally got it. I know it will be a while before I will be making hats or even an even scarf but I have a dish cloth that is 3/4 done (I ran out of yarn) and a deformed dragonfly. So here are my photos of my lop-sided dish cloth with progress photos and my deformed dragonfly. It also gets out great frustration when your favorite football forgets to show up for the most important game of the year.
