Tasty Tuesday – Homemade Pitas

A little late today sorry, been busy but we did bake this weekend and I wanted to share this with y’all.  I have been wanting to make pita bread for a while now and just hadn’t gotten around to it.  This weekend Jeff said we should try it.  We did, I found this recipe on Pinterest from Under the High Chair.  They were fantastic one note about the pitas, it was really humid here on Sunday so I needed to use more flour closer to 4 cups to prevent sticking.  That also prevented it from puffing as much as hers.

Throw everything in the mixer and let “George” do all the work. Yes my mixers name is George.

Jeff made a fantastic bean dip that paired nicely with the pita.
