Part 7: The Big Reveal

After seven parts it is time to finally reveal what part of my bathroom looks like (the other part needs some minor things like baseboards before I take photos).  I do have a couple at least one other tutorial that I plan on doing but I have to buy a couple baskets to make it look pretty.

Bathroom Before and After

A tad embarrassed at the before but the after I am happy to show off.

BEFORE: Note the ugly shelf it was awful and was screwed to the wall with three giant screws. Ignore the tools this was taken shortly after we decided to replace the sink.

BEFORE: Note the ugly shelf it was awful and was screwed to the wall with three giant screws. Ignore the tools this was taken shortly after we decided to replace the sink.  As you can see how huge the vanity and sink was, it went pretty much up to the door frame.

AFTER: Taken at almost the exact same spot. As you can see I actually decorated my bathroom with peacock feathers and candle holders (yes no candles.)

AFTER: The mirror, picture (is a print from The Gates, which the orange matches) and another candle holder on the sink.

So with all our trips to Home Depot what did our bathroom cost?

$738.37*

*This includes everything ACE trips, late night Wal-Mart run because Booga lost my tape measurer and this also does not include towels or a new shower curtain which have not been purchased)

Not to shabby if I do say so myself, I was able to keep it under a $1,000 which was my goal.  A couple notes on keeping our costs down we did NOT replace our tub if we had our costs would have surpassed $1,000 easily.  Next time around we will plan for the worse and build an actual budget.
