Who Are You Calling Crafty?

I finally did it, I finally remembered to scan the garden plan! This more than likely makes no sense to anyone but me – lol.

The garden is currently 14′ x 18′ the beds around the outside are 1′ wide. The 1′ beds have scallions, beets, radishes, 1 cantaloupe plant, beans, peas, carrots, 1 cucumber, 4 squash plants, 1 pumpkin plant. The pathways are all 2′ wide. The large bed is 8’x4′ and has 12 tomato plants and 4 cucumber plants. The 2 smaller beds are 4′ x 6′ one has 6 sweet banana pepper plants, none of the other pepper plants made it. The other bed has lettuce, spinach and more beans that I just planted on the 29th and I have sprouts, very exciting considering that this was just and experiment.

The bluish circles around the dots are seeds that survived, the red X’s are ones that did not.

I am currently working on 2011 Garden Plan. Jillian informed me she wants corn in her garden my neighbors are going to think I am crazy if I plant corn in my backyard. I plan on doubling the garden next year lots of chicken wire type fence – to keep out kitties and mulch so I don’t have to weed as much. I am very excited about next year’s garden so far my experiment is going pretty well.
