I finished my Random Acts of Kindness Card!

YAY!  Happy Dance (Irish Jig or the Twist 😛 )

I had hope to finish this earlier this week but things impeded my progress.  I finished my card today and it is in the mail (I finished it before the mail lady came – GO ME!!!!)

Here it is:

The background was tissue paper dyed with ink.  I then glued the tissue paper onto watercolor paper and added yellow highlights with a highlighter and a spray bottle.  Once that was dry I then took Elmer’s White Glue and drew the tree branch.  I made the acorn out of watercolor paper.  Once the glue dried, I did a second layer of glue and then let that dry.  I used acrylic artist sepia tone ink to paint the Elmer Glue.

This is the inside of the card.  This is one of my favorite quotes.
My daughter’s contribution to the project a drawing of Wubbzy, Waldon, Widget, and Daisy!

I enjoyed this project and I love the fact that my daughter enjoyed it too.  I love knowing that this will bring a smile to someone’s face.
