One of the items that makes me think of fall is a Pumpkin Spice Latte from Starbucks. If you have never have had one I send my sympathies because they are that good! One thing when you mention Starbucks in any sentence I think what a luxury, I don’t know about you but spending $5.00 on a coffee drink is a tad ridiculous. I find myself every year craving the pumpkin goodness that come wrapped in a Starbucks cup. I told Jeff to get a can of pumpkin when he went to the store, I wanted to add it to my yogurt. After having a almost mental breakdown on Saturday, I decided I wanted a pumpkin spice latte – that would make me happy (that is what I say when I am having a breakdown – lol!) I took the can of pumpkin, the hot chocolate, a giant coffee mug, some International Coffee stuff and pumpkin pie spice. So after much experimentation this is the recipe I came up with, not bad and it helped save my sanity!
2 TBSP of Pumpkin from a can
2 TBSP of Instant Hot Chocolate
2 TBSP of Instant Coffee Drink (General Mills International Coffee Stuff)
Big Latte Mug
2 TSP Pumpkin Pie Spice
Whip Cream (makes everything better)
Boil hot water. Mix pumpkin, hot chocolate, coffee, and pumpkin pie spice in big mug (before adding water). Add hot water, stir. Top with whip cream and more Pumpkin Pie Spice – ENJOY!
