So a good friend of our just bought a shrimping net which means fresh shrimp. I love shrimp! I also love pasta and what would be better than a wonderful cream sauce.
Easy Yummy Cream Sauce:
16 ounces of sour cream
1/2 stick of butter
1/4 to 1/2 fresh Parmesan cheese
garlic, parsley, pepper to taste
Cook down sour cream and butter. Once its all melted, add Parmesan cheese and keep stirring on the heat until it thickens a little.
(I usually let it sit off the heat for 5 minutes or so, to get it a little thicker, then put it back on)
And add the salt, pepper, parsley and garlic powder.
Cheesy Garlic Bread:
1 medium loaf French bread unsliced
1/2 cup butter softened
2 cloves garlic minced
1 tsp of dried Parsley
1/3 cup Parmesan cheese
Preheat oven to 375. Cut slices down the length of bread loaf at 1″ intervals, without cutting all the way through. Rub slices and top of loaf with garlic (or garlic juice from jar). Combine butter, garlic, parsley and Parmesan in a small bowl. Spread butter mixture between bread slices and on top of loaf. Wrap bread in foil leaving top partially uncovered. Bake until heated through, about 15 minutes.
The cheesy garlic bread is the first recipe I ever cooked for my husband. I made homemade spaghetti sauce and cheesy garlic bread, the rest is history!

Very Yummy! Also peeling shrimp is very time consuming so try to bribe someone to do it for you – hahahaha! My loving, amazing husband spent almost three hours peeling shrimp (so worth it). |
