Welcome to your next stop on the Festive Friday Blog Hop. You should have just came from Cheryl Lindsay’s Blog – Cherlin – Ink.
Card number three is based on my theme for my Christmas Cards this year, which is Snow. The card is 4 1/4” x 5 1/2” when folded and was constructed on Blue card stock made by Canson (I have had it for years!) The blue square paper is handmade paper I bought at a local art supply store (it was in my stash). The silver is once again Metal Tape. I discovered that the Metal Tape can be cut with normal scrapbooking or decorative scissors. I cut the Metal Tape into strips and applied it over the handmade paper. I then took a piece of a cereal box and covered it with Metal Tape. I embossed Let it Snow and the snowflakes with a dull pencil. I also punched holes with a 1/16” paper punch. I attached the embellishment with pop dots.

Very pretty. Love metal tape
Love the use of silver tape and embossing. Great card.
Great design, but I've had enough snow this year 🙂
great metallic look.
very cool techniques! (no pun intended:)
What a wonderful card—I have to find some of that metal tape. I love the snow on your cards, but I'm pretty tired of it coming down in my yard right now! I'm a follower–you can find me at http://karelj.blogspot.com and/or ksjennings at gmail dot com
