Web cam photo right after I made them all. Sorry about the crappy photo for some reason the photos I uploaded will not show in blogger. After four tries I gave up. |
Saturday, September 17th I was apart of a on-line card making extravaganza to make cards for our service men and women. I decided to make Christmas Cards the deadline for Operation Write Home is September 30th. I given this website Ink It Up! by a friend, which showed how to make 16 cards in an hour. I decided I so needed to try that — the cards went together really quick once everything was measured out. The measuring took the most time — measure twice cut once is an important thing to remember when doing this.
Card Design: Amanda Marks
Stamps: I have no idea where they came from. I got them from a friend 10 years ago.
Paper: The cards are blank 5 1/2″ x 4″ made from whitecard stock. I used 12×12 Miss Elizabeth’s Bright Christmas. Two green 8 1/2″x11″ card stock. Two red 8 1/2″x 11″ card stock. Two white 8 1/2″x11″ card stock. I followed the template and directions provided on Ink it Up! (I didn’t pay for the complete version — I looked at the photos and guessed.)
The top Santa card was HOTP Paper — I used Time Holtz Tea Dye Ink Pad around the edges and red card stock – I used glossy accents to embellish the stars.
Colored With: NONE
Adhesive: Scrapbook Adhesives
Other: Tim Holtz Distress Ink Peeled Paint, Staz-on Forrest Green and Blaze Red
