OWH – Christmas Card Blog Hop

Why do I support OWH?  I support this wonderful organization because so many service men and women make personal sacrifices and many have made the ultimate sacrifice for me and my family.  The least I can do is make cards so they can keep in touch with their loved ones back home.
The giant snowflake and Let it Snow came from freebies offered from A.J.’s Digi Shoppe.  I used a Bic Mark-it Marker around the edge and covered it with Glossy Accents.  The “bling” I used was a snowflake I crafted using Amazing Mold Putty and Paperclay.  I colored it with Adirondack Alcohol Ink – Stream, added iridescent gel medium and covered everything with Glossy Accents.  The back ground was created by using Impressions – Earth, Wind and Fire Set, I used Time Holtz Broken China on the background and stamped it with a homemade snowflake stamp I made using the Amazing Mold Putty.

  1. The big, bold snow flake makes a nice focal point and general winter themes are great for OWH since they have a longer shelf life. Thanks for joining in the hop and supporting Operation Write Home!
