Only one batch of cookies were baked and no peppermint bark to be found. With the light all hung both inside and out I decided that with the colds we all had cookies will need to wait until next year. Santa of course will get his fill since we are making sugar cookies on Christmas Eve but the peppermint bark, the peanut brittle, rum balls and chocolate crinkles will not happen this year.
Here is the link to the FANTASTIC Eggnog Melt-aways we made this weekend. We did a 1/4cup of alcoholic eggnog (Pennsylvania Dutch) instead of the 1/4cup of eggnog and 1/2TBSP of rum. They are fantastic especially sprinkled with a little tiny bit of Nutmeg.
