My project is a very simple decoupage gift/jewelry box in which I used Robin’s Nest Gold Daisy/Striped Paper (double-sided) to a simple cardboard box (I pulled out of the recycle bin). I cut out a 2″x2″ square window for the scrap of acrylic I had from a previous project. I added the daisy side of the paper to the top of the box and the striped side of the paper for the outside of the box. My embellishments were Dew Drops and a Rub-on. I did raw the extension of the daisy petals on the acrylic with a gold paint marker and I painted the pink with 3D Crystal Lacquer and Terri Sproul Mixers. A nice simple project that is just in time for Mother’s Day (mom don’t look).
I love the use of the flower on the paper and the clear plastic! What a fabulous idea!
