OWH Memorial Day Blog Hop

Welcome to the Operation Write Home Sketch Blog Hop I am proud to be doing this Blog Hop for a second year.  Operation Write Home is a great organaztion who provide handmade cards to our service men and women.  Supporting OWH is a way I can say Thank You to the service men and women for the sacrfices they make everyday.

The challenge sketch I chose was #68.  I used Freebie Paper from A.J.’s Digi Shoppe to create a very simplistic Thank you card.

Thank you for stopping and don’t forget to check out the other amazing blogs on this blog hop!  Happy Memorial Day!

  1. Beautiful CAS design and the crisp black & white color combo make it perfect for just about anyone. I like making a big, bold sentiment the focal point in cards. Nice job! Thanks for joining in the Memorial Day hop and for supporting OWH!

  2. Great CAS cards always make me smile — and this one definitely does just that! Love the black and white paired with such a bold sentiment. And, the flower is a perfect finishing touch. 🙂

  3. Simply beautiful. Swap out the flower for a motarboard – and you have a perfect graduation thank you 🙂

  4. Beautiful card! Thanks for picking this sketch – your card has really brought it to life for me. I have a feeling this sketch will go from being overlooked by me to a well used one!

  5. Terrific CAS card! I like that you changed the sentiment panel from a rectangle to an oval – such a simple change, but a very eyecatching one which I think makes a nice improvement to the original sketch.

  6. Such a stunning card. I like how you finished with the flower. Black and white is always perfect for a card
