Part 2: How It Started

I had giving a little background about how the bathroom happened.  It started with a faucet a simple faucet replacement turned into a complete bathroom remodel.

Trying to fix the faucet

Jeff trying to fix the faucet.  did I mention the cabinet was actually an old kitchen cabinet that they transformed to a bathroom vanity.  I would have had no problem with this if they had done it correctly.

The “closet” area of the bathroom, the top shelf was broken.

Once we realized it wasn’t coming out we then went to Home Depot and purchased this:

The vanity we also got the matching cabinet and shelf.

I started getting excited that we were getting new things for the bathroom.  We of course then had to put a giant hole in the wall and then rip out the floor.  I did do some step by steps for some of the projects we did in the bathrooms so I hope to have some of those typed out very soon.  We didn’t go high end we did stuff that looks nice but wasn’t too pricey.  I had an idea of what I wanted bright wall color and dark wood, the tile was a bonus (and matches perfectly!).  We are still missing towels and a shower curtain before we can do the big “reveal” but I promise it will be worth it.
