The world of iMac = HEAVEN!

It hasn’t even been 24 hours and I am in HEAVEN! I seriously did not expect the transition to the Mac (aka: Hurley) be this smooth. The hardest part was getting everything off my laptop (seriously getting the fonts off was a HUGE pain, it took almost 2 hours!) I admit there are some things I miss, Windows Live Writer (watermarking photos) but I can honestly say I don’t miss it enough to go back! The transition has been fairly smooth (I didn’t even have to hack the router) the biggest thing is getting use to the Magic Mouse (right click is gone). I use spell check for everything but I can’t figure out how to fix it because I can’t right click. If you see lots of spelling errors in the next couple of weeks that is why, I can’t figure out spell check.

The keyboard can be moved unlike my laptop where it was me hunched over a desk trying to type. I can actually sit up straight and type. The screen is huge and bright! The best part I turn on my computer and it turns on right away, I don’t have to wait for 10 minutes for it to “warm up.” My favorite though is the capability to open Illustrator, Bridge, Photoshop and Fire Fox at the same time it is truly amazing!
