Snow Theme Card #9 – This is my first shaker card. The card is a hortizontal card 5 1/2”x4 1/4” when folded and was constructed on Blue card stock made by Canson (I have had it for years!) I saved a plastic form from some Dollar Store stamps I bought my daughter. I took some Navy Blue Mi Tennes Canson Paper and embossed it with my Tim Holtz Embossing Pad and I used my Roll-a-graph Snowflake stamp. I used the Navy Paper as a background for my shaker – I added silver glitter and some white seed beads to the shaker. I then cut a 1 1/2″ circle in the middle of the card and glued the shaker in place. I then put a piece of the blue card stock over the shaker to secure it in place. I took the embossed Navy Blue Canson Paper and cut a base for the snowglobe. I used a template (I got in the dollar bin at Target 10 years ago) for my label. I covered the cereal box in metal tape and embossed Let it Snow… on the metal tape. I then used my homemade alcohol ink to embellish the tag. I took my silver Studio G Glitter Glue and outlined the shaker and the base. I added Extreme Glitter Turquoise snowflakes to the background.
