Backyard Beautification Part 3

I have been doing a lot on our yard but our yard really needed some TLC. Last week I removed our jasmine plant because it was infested with poison ivy. I liked the jasmine plant but it needed to go. The other thing that disappeared last week was the ant-topolis. Ant-topolis was a wooden bucket that at one time contained flowers that was around our mailbox. The five years we have lived in our house I have only had flowers in it once and was covered with ant bites because I hit the ant-topolis. We had talk about removing it but it was never pressing, Jeff pulled the metal piece and it fell apart so he took it out.

AFTER! Now we need to get a fence post to fix the fence.

A side note about the fence post and why it hasn’t been fixed.  They no longer make the slat posts any more so we have to drill and cut everything ourselves up until a couple weeks ago I didn’t have the bits to do it. My dad sent me his wooden drill bits so now I have a set.

I also decided to fix the crawl space on our side deck.  I never liked the fact that the crawl space was accessible from the front of the house.  With the door falling apart in my hand I knew I had to fix the crawl space entrance.
