We got a doggie this weekend from the Animal Shelter, she is a Nova Scotia Duck Tolling Retriever and Corky Mix. She is beautiful, friendly and is fantastic with the kids! I fell in love with her when I saw a photo of her on the Shelter’s Facebook Page. She looked so sad and I just wanted to hug her. We couldn’t take her home immediately (hopefully we can get her today) they check out all the dogs to ensure they are healthy. I hope (fingers crossed) she will get a clean bill of health and we will get to take our doggie home today!
If you are looking for an animal please visit your local Animal Control or Humane Society (here they are two different places). They are amazing people and they really do want to find each and every dog a home, forever. Don’t be intimidated by the process they are trying to find you the right dog, so they won’t be abandoned. Listen to them, they have been around these dogs and they know if it will work with you, your family and your schedule. I can not wait until we can take Reeva home, she is one of the sweetest dogs I have ever met and I can not wait to give her a second chance.
